The monitor arrived yesterday morning, super fast delivery... Well what can I say I nearly started crying. When we got awarded the grant for our Daisy Garland SATs monitor, I sure did have tears in my eyes. I have been struggling so much lately as my sons seizures have been getting worse on a night. Having this monitor I shall feel more at ease now knowing when he's in a seizure if his oxygen and heart rate are ok, knowing the monitor will alert me/alarm and awake me which also makes me more at ease as I always use to sleep with one eye open (don't know how I managed but you find a way). Now I will feel more reassured and ease in a night and hopefully get that much needed rest on a night time knowing I have something to awake me when my son numbers drop and raise. Not only will this machine help alert me with seizures Arlo also has sleep apnea and it can alert me to that so I just want to thank The Daisy Garland again for helping me.
