Erin-Rose Erin has struggled with undiagnosed nocturnal epilepsy for most of her childhood. It is only now, at the age 17, that Erin has been correctly diagnosed following a period of regular tonic clonic seizures and hospital admissions. Erin has spent her childhood with a fear of death at night and feeling like she wouldn’t wake up in the morning. We have been using a baby monitor to try to keep Erin safe overnight but at the age of 17 Erin found this embarrassing and upsetting. The Daisy Garland have provided Erin with a epilepsy monitor which is life changing for Erin. She can now go to bed without fear, knowing that if she has a seizure the monitor will alert me, and I will be able to keep her safe. All this happening without causing her embarrassment and allowing her to be independent. Thank you so much!! Best wishes from Erin and her family & Rusty! Manage Cookie Preferences
