I just wanted to say a big thank you to The Daisy Garland, my daughter Grace was diagnosed with nocturnal focal epilepsy December 22, the seizures then gradually started to present both day & night, some days when Grace experiences clusters of focal seizures, she can have 40+ seizures in a 24hr period. Grace is currently taking 3 AED medications and we have recently been told Grace has drug resistant epilepsy. For the past two years I’ve slept in Grace’s bed to try to reduce the risk of SUDEP. I can’t thank The Daisy Garland enough for funding our Epilepsy Monitor, by having this monitor it will give Grace the confidence to sleep independently and give me peace of mind, knowing that if Grace has a focal tonic clonic seizure whilst sleeping, the monitor will alert me immediately so I can go in her room and provide assistance. This piece of equipment is invaluable. We are very grateful to you all. The work you all do to support the individual and their families is amazing. Thanks again.
