Scarlett will be 18 years old later on this year. She developed seizures shortly after birth and has battled with them for the majority of her life. After trying numerous anti epileptic drugs which didn't help we started the ketogenic diet when she was 4 years old. It was life changing for both Scarlett and ourselves, in fact it made such a difference that she has been on it ever since. Up until 18 months ago her seizures were well managed by the diet but unfortunately she is now experiencing frequent prolonged seizures despite the addition of anti epileptic drugs alongside the diet. We have recently been given a Daisy Garland SATs monitor and this will give us peace of mind that we will be alerted of any prolonged seizures during the night. We are so grateful for this monitor to keep our daughter safe and the wonderful work that the Charity does for families like us.  Thank you
