We are so overjoyed as a family to be accepted for a Daisy Garland SATs monitor. This will allow Tommy to have some element of independence whilst sleeping, knowing that we are able to have a more in-depth awareness of his levels. As a family this allows us to be able to try and detect seizure activity during sleep (caused by his ESES) which puts him at a high risk of SUDEP. As well as monitoring his levels when he is particularly poorly, due to his fragile immune system.  We can not thank The Daisy Garland charity enough for all their support throughout this journey so far, from Ketogenic support to Parent courses/interaction, the team are always there to help with this rocky-rollercoaster-ride that is Epilepsy.  Without doubt it is an amazing charity!
